Try a Hanbok on for size!

In my last post about Seoul Global Cultural Center, I mentioned that they have centers all over Seoul and that they offer a lot of cultural experiences.  One great program that is offered is trying on a Hanbok (traditional Korea clothing), for FREE at the Myeongdong location.

Seoul Global Cultural Center

27, Myeongdong 8-gil, Jung-gu, Seoul (In the same building as Forever 21)

Hours of Operation: Monday-Thursday: 10:30 ~ 12:30 / 14:00~16:00

They have approximately 30 different costumes with all of the accessories. You are not able to make a reservation in advance for the Hanbok wearing, you just go into the center on the day you want to participate and make a reservation at the door.  They will let you try on one costume and give you 15 minutes to take photos.  They have a photo area for you to use to get some fun poses and even have selfie sticks and tripods for you to utilize!

As you can see it made for some pretty fun photos! I definitely recommend you go to try it.  Other places charge you upwards of 15,000 won just to have this same experience. Don’t miss out!
