There’s nothing sheepish about this Cafe

I’ve been keeping you up to date on all the fun and unusual cafes that Seoul has to offer (Hello Kitty Cafe, Dog Cafe, and Cat Cafe), but I recently found out about a Sheep Cafe! How could I resist going there for a visit?!

Thanks Nature Cafe (Hongdae)

서울특별시 마포구 서교동 486 – (486 Seogyo-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, South Korea)

The cafe is located in the B1 level of the building (so make sure to look down). Once you get down the stairs you will see the cafe to your right and the sheep pen to the left.

The inside of the cafe is cute and filled with sheep themed items.

You’ll also find a variety of items; Coffee drinks, Teas, Fruit Juices, Fruit Ade, Waffles, and Sandwiches. I ordered a Nutella Frappuccino (7,000 won) and it was  pretty tasty. We didn’t have any food, but the table next to us ordered some waffles and they looked pretty good.

So enough about the cafe, you want to know about the Sheep!  Meet Bocksil and Mongsil, the stars of the cafe.

This is the pen where the Sheep hang out.

So we found out that the sheep are pretty baaaa-shful, unless they see some food! But once they see you have some food, watch out they get excited!

Just on a side note, you aren’t really supposed to feed the Sheep, this was unbeknownst to me until I passed the cup of noms off to another person and the owner saw and reprimanded them. OOOOPS….

Overall the cafe is nice and I enjoyed my interaction with the Sheep.  It’s definitely worth a visit if you are looking for something fun and different to do.  I’ve also heard that there is also a Raccoon Cafe somewhere in the city, so I’ll let you know when I make it there!
